Installation
In this installation, the repetitive, opposing, and conflicting nature of thoughts is referenced through arrangement. The phrase ‘herenow’ is repeated 108 times mimicking ancient Vedic scrolls from India and is written on fabric. The fragility of thoughts is invoked through the material. The fabric sheets are hand-stitched and installed on the wall - giving form to thoughts. The installation generates meanings of hope and despair, presence and absence, forward and back.
